Walking through the carpet, grabbing the handle of the door, combing the hair and removing the woolen sweater, cause sparks, this phenomenon is known as static electricity. Humans can generate up to 25000V of electrostatic discharge through daily activities. Human hands can feel electrostatic discharges as low as about 3000V. Only a 10V ESD can destroy some of the tiny parts of the integrated circuit. As a result, although ESD is invisible, inaudible, or imperceptible, it can significantly destroy electronic products.
